'Today I\'ll tell you about two-piece sleeves.  I want to show you how to make a vent in a two-piece sleeve. I\'ll show you the whole process very thoroughly. Vents look really good in sleeves of the coats.  Remember that the both parts of the 2-piece sleeve should be cut on a grain.  This is where the grain should be in the inner part of sleeve. An overcast should be 4cm wide. Do not forget to add 1cm for the seams.  A vent should be about 12cm long and 4cm wide. Measure the length of the vent not from the edge of an overcast, but from from the edge of a sleeve itself. Notice how attentive I am when designing items. I\'m showing you everythng very thoroughly because I don\'t want you to have any questions. I know that some people make the overcast wider when making sleeves with vents. I don\'t do it. When I cut the sleeves out, I\'ll show you what to do next. I\'ll make my favourite spacing seams along the vents. Next I\'ll attach an adhesive material. Both the vent and the overcast are 4cm wide, so it\'s not hard to work.  I\'ve already showed you how to process the angles of the vents. Do it the same way as in a multi-functional dress. Cut the adhesive material right along a vent and an overcast.  I\'ll make just one sleeve to show it to you. I want you to do everything accurately. People make mistakes either because they hurry or because they don’t know how to do something. It makes me so happy to share my experience and knowledge with you. Next you need to process the angles just like in the vent of the multi-functional dress. The technique is not hard, you just need to be accurate.  Remember that practice makes perfect.
