'DIY: How to make pockets in the darts. Sewing a frock coat.'

'This is Paukshte Fashion Workshop. I remind you that we post new videos every day. Today I am going to show you how to make pockets in the chest darts. I remind you that in my frock coat the chest darts end with the pockets. What should we pay attention to when making pockets?  They should be comfortable. This is very important. I\'m going to show you how the pockets look like both from the wrong side and from the right side. Natalie is going to help me show you how to make such pockets. I’ll show you the details we’ve prepared for making a mock-up of a pocket. We are going to show you how to make exactly the same pockets as in the frock coat. In one of the previous videos we’ve already showed you how to cut the underlay pieces. Be very attentive!  Do not forget to mark the waistline. This is very important. I remind you that in the frock coat the front details were doubled with the one-piece details of the interfacing. If you work the same way, you won’t have to double the underlay piece separately. Anyway, you will have to cut the thin stripes of the interfacing material in order to double the pocket opening. This is a must. This is going to be a detailed tutorial, so I’m pretty sure everything will be clear for you. The most important thing is that you already know how to make a pattern for the front: how to move the darts, how to cut the underlay pieces. It’s actually not hard to make such pockets.
