'NEW YORK — After a decade in the game Alexander Wang moved into primetime Saturday evening at Pier 94 with an all-new 9 PM calendar berth. To say the award-winning designer fitted into the time slot would be an understatement, he damn near exploded it. A video screen spanning the length of the runway opposite of the seating gallery meant this occasion was always going to be a visual spectacle and boy were those seated in the capacity bleachers not disappointed. On the runway Saturday evening for Next were Lineisy Montero, Olivia Jansing, Binx, and Odette P, all of whom suffice to say were more than pumped for the show. Following the runway portion of the program, a video retrospective of the Wang decade played and ultimately concluded in an explosion of confetti that showered the runway as the designer bounded down and back before a rapturous crowd. This was a Saturday night that would not soon be forgotten any more than the preceding 10 years of Alexander Wang.
