Welcome to Bulgaria, the capital city, SOFIA. It\'s a beautiful, modern and youthful city,  I couldn’t ask for a better day. It’s November when the sun is out.  Sofia is well known for its parks It felt like any other European city, this area I’d say was nicer than other parts I was surprised to stumble into a designer fair selling hand made goods enough to try on or taste.  Must have been about 15 stands selling goodies…  Sofia is one of the oldest cities in Europe founded some 2500 years ago.  Thanks to its central location in the heart of the Balkans , it was even briefly the capital of the Roman Empire.  I really enjoyed Sofia and while It’s been said that Warsaw, Ljubljana or Budapest might be the new Berlin  I think Sofia can get this title also!  I’m surprised not many have discovered it yet!  2020 has been a tough year for travel - to say the least. But don\'t let that discourage you from making travel plans in the new year! Having little time or money isn\'t a valid excuse.  You can fly for cheap very easily.  Travelling Lets You disconnect from Your Daily Life Sometimes it is best to take a step back, take a deep breath and Just go!   A word of warning first: keep your credit card handy!
