'Today we continue working with tulip sleeves. I remind you that the technique is the same for all sizes. I want to make the design a bit more comlicated. I\'ll need to raise the sleeve top for about 1,5cm. Next I need to make 4 or 5cuts and open them. I mark the center sleeve. I open each cut for about 1-1,5cm. I need to mark the center sleeve on the fabric. Now I need to do the same thing with the other part. I need to make the sleeve top about 1,5cm higher. I raise the sleeve top for 1,5cm and then draw a new line so that it’s 7mm higher at the edge. I’ll tack the sleeve gathering it and it will get back to the original form. There’s a small seam on a dummy which marks the center sleeve. Such sleeves will look amazing in beautiful festive dresses. I’m glad I’ve showed you this option of a tulip sleeve. I think that tulip sleeves are amazing! You can make them in any items you want – summer dresses or classic blouses. I’m telling you once again that such sleeves should be inserted the same way as the regular ones. Next time I’ll show you one more design of a tulip sleeve. My name is Paukshte Irina.
