'DIY: How to make a one-piece coat. Making a coat of the one piece of fabric. Sewing tutorial.'

'Today we’ll be working with a one-piece coat. I’ll show you the book which inspired me to make this lesson. I’ll be using the Chanel fabric which I’ve bought in Paris. It’s of the very good quality – with the mohair addition. It’s very light, but at the same time pretty warm. There’s a lot of cashmere in it. The width of this piece of fabric is 140 cm, and the length – 155cm. Take a piece of fabric, fold it for about 45 cm and stitch this folded piece in such way that you still have some space for an arm. I’ll show you how our tailors processed the item by hand. You can find the other way to do it. You can, for example, fold the edge and attach a tape to it. It’s very hard to find the fabric of the good quality nowadays. This one is really good – it’s a very light, but at the same time warm cashmere. It’s so soft to the touch. You can make the item less wide. It depends on your size. It makes me so happy to make the videos for you! I’m glad you guys watch me and write the comments. I’m looking forward to seeing the items you make! My name is Paukshte Irina.
