'DIY: How to downsize jeans. Making a pair of jeans tighter at the waist.'

19:14 Jun 22, 2022
'This is Paukshte Fashion Workshop. I remind you that we post new videos every day. Today we are going to show you how to make a pair of jeans tighter. In our case the jeans should be made tighter just on the waist level. We are going to show you what to do. We\'ve pinned the extra extension at the fitting. First we need to mark the alterations on the wrong side. After that the seams in the needed details should be ripped up. Do not forget to mark where the seams should end. We are going to make small darts under the belt loops, and under the pockets. We need to decide where exactly to place the darts. It doesn’t really matter where to place the openings, so we are going to them where we want them to be. Be very attentive! Make sure that you stitch the details accurately. Do not forget about the seams both in the lining and the main fabric. It should be done for the details not to be too thick when they are stitched together. I think that these are very useful tutorials. Be very attentive when ironing the seams. Be very attentive when top stitching the seams. I hope that the customer will be satisfied with the result. I’m glad that we had a chance to show you this useful technique. Be different and beautiful. We are Ira and Natalie.
