'Today I want to tell you about square arm-holes. There are a lot of types of square arm-holes. I’ll show you how to change a basic pattern of a sleeve into a pattern for a square arm-hole. I’ll be working with a pattern made using my 10-measurement cutting system. Today I’ll show you how to design such sleeve, and next time I’ll cut it and tack. The thing is that it’s not so easy to change the pattern into a one with a square arm-hole. Don’t be scared anyway. I’ll show you everything. To design such arm-hole we need patterns of a back, front and sleeve. What do we need to do first? I need to draw the arm-hole depth line. I’ll show you why I do it. Next find the most wide part of the arm-hole and draw a line down from it. Do it both on the front and the back sides. Next thing we need to do is to change the sleeve pattern. It’s much harder to do it. I hope you’ll like the design. Try to copy the original sleeve head. Do the same this with the 2nd piece. Such sleeves are very comfortable. I hope you’ll like them.
