'Today I want to tell you how to make small pleated sleeves. I hope you’ve already understood that a beautiful sleeve can make any item look amazing. Make a simple dress with interesting sleeves and neckline. I put this violet fabric on the table just for you to see everything clearly. The pattern is white, the fabric is white, the table itself is white, so I needed something of different color. I need to draw the 1st cutting line about 2 or 3cm down from the sleeve top. I’ll make the 1st pintucks here. The last ones will be a bit above the arm-hole. You can draw the lines however you like – make more cuts if you want. Use your imagination – make the pintucks however you like! I’ll open each cut for about 2,5cm. I draw each detail 2,5cm away from the previous one. You’ll see that it’s not hard to do it. Try to place the details in such way that the center sleeve line is straight. I’ll make the sleeve of light cambric. I make notches on the center sleeve and the front part of the sleeve. I know that you think the technique is simple, but actually it’s not as easy to make sleeves it seems. Notice that these lines don’t necessarily have to be absolutely straight. Make very small stitches when tacking. I’ll gather the sleeve head just a bit. When I finish tacking, I’ll put the sleeve on a dummy. Insert such sleeves like you usually do. The technique is absolutely the same. Don’t be afraid of experiments and remember that practice makes perfect. My name is Paukshte Irina. Subscribe to my channel!'
