You know when it comes to men\'s wear in New York, I think that the main thing to keep in mind is everything is a little more tailored. The suit that you wear to work everyday, it is going to be really fitted and really tailored like there is a lot of thought going into the fit. So that\'s something to keep in mind when you are shopping. Men in New York and sort of in the fashion world is all about making sure that you see the clean lines and sort of a slim cut figure. So if you are getting a suit you want to make sure its tailored to you and the same thing goes with jeans and shirts. You are not going to wear baggy jeans and you are not going to wear big loose shirt. You want to have some nice tailored or well fitting jeans with a great pair of shoes, that\'s a really important thing to keep in mind if you are shopping for men\'s wear in New York. Spend your money on shoes, its worth spending the extra hundred or two hundred dollars because you will have those for the rest of your life and they can really take an outfit and dress it up and make it look crisp and clean. So you can wear some Levi\'s, a pair of forty dollar jeans, a nice pair of shoes and a great button down and you will look absolutely fantastic. I think another thing to keep in mind is you shouldn\'t shy away from accessorizing. Men in New York are a little more playful with their fashion. So scarves and hats or vests or different jackets like these are all things that you will see walking down the street and you will realize it is not intimidating, you are not going to stick out and you are not going to look weird. There are so much opportunity to be a little more playful. So if you have always wanted to try something, I think this is exactly the place to do it. If you\'re wearing jeans and may be a button down, try throwing a plaid vest on and everyone sort of references to this 1950s Mad Men style. I think that there is something to be said for it. It was all about that they are really, really clean and slim fitting suit and in light colors. It is not about a black suit or the sort of navy pin strips stand by. Go for like a light slate grey and may be with bright colored tie. You have a really really big chance for to be playful. No one is going to give you a second glance. Everyone is sort of walks down the street dressed crazily. So if you are wearing just like a cool little suit or a jeans and a vest or maybe a shirt layered with a cardigan, that\'s not going to look out of place, that\'s another thing to keep in mind is you can always put sweaters over your shirts and its a really easy way to sort of manage the temperatures without looking like, you are bundled up like a snow man.'
