'How to Draw and Paint Dr. Ph. Martin Hydrus Gouache Fashion Illustration for Beginners The Floral Gown On this piece, I chose Gouache, as you can to underpainting and create layers of washes that give your piece dimension. I used a Holbein Japanese Gouache brand, the same brand that produces the acryla gouaches. The reason I chose water soluble gouaches versus acryla gouaches is because, I wanted to be able to create washes without texture. Acrylic based gouaches tend to layer, and create a thick texture much like oils do. MUSIC CREDITS-Elaine Biss. Thank you so much for watching my video!
