'How to Draw Fashion Illustrations for Beginners Part 4 - Watercolor a Gown Sketch. Just finished your drawing your illustration, now it\'s time to paint the gown. Whip out your Watercolors and your favorite brushes and let\'s get painting! On camera I mixed a light skin tone. To do so, get a dab of ultra-marine blue, a bit of quinacridone red and Yellow. The lighter the skin tone, the lighter the shade of yellow. For a more medium tone skin, use primary red. For darker skin tones use a bit more blue. MUSIC CREDITS-Elaine Biss.
