It was because the one and only Naomi Campbell opened the show  in her striking Naomi way.  If Donatella Versace wanted to be in the fashion news for more than just her Fall 2013 couture collection this season, she certainly got it. While the clothes looked a bit haphazardly meshed together, it takes really work to make items look that bedhead chic -- lace bras and crystal hooks astray.  Donatella was inspired by black and white photography of the 30s modernized by photographers \"Horst and Man Ray.\" Again, as always in a proper Atelier Versace collection, it was skin and it was at its finest.
