'A whole host of stars filled out the front rows to see Stella McCartney\'s Spring/Summer 2013 collection at Paris Fashion Week. Father and former Beatle Paul McCartney was in attendance at the Paris Opera House along with other A-listers such as Kate Moss, M.I.A., Salma Hayek and Diane Keaton. Following on from designing for Adidas the iconic sportswear donned by Team GB\'s athletes during the London Olympics, the outfits on display emphasised her trademark emphasis of practicality with the modern woman in mind. The light and breezy clothes dazzled in an array of bright colours that appeared loose and easy to wear. The usual play between masculine and feminine that is characteristic of her work was emphasised with broad-shouldered men\'s style jackets contrasted with a delicate black and white camouflage silky jumpsuit worn by model Karli Kloss. Russian Model Natalia Vodianova, who was also in attendance, praised the British designer\'s clothes for empowering women: \"I adore and love her, she\'s, she\'s an incredible woman, she brings such important values to today\'s world. She\'s, you know, one of the best representatives of the female half of this population of this planet, in my opinion.\" Speaking at the show, McCartney told Reuters she strived to design her clothes for the everyday woman: \"It\'s important for me. It\'s something I believe in. I really champion women, I admire women, and I want my collections to empower them, and shift them into what they can really, really be. If you\'re not already a Stella McCartney woman, then hopefully you can look at individual pieces and you can bring them into your life and make them your own.\" The daughter of Sir Paul and his former wife Linda McCartney, the designer graduated from Central Saint Martins in 1995 and had her supermodel friends Naomi Campbell, Yasmin Le Bon and Kate Moss model in her final year show.
