Floral motifs in embroidery, hats, accessories, and shoes saw the wearer invaded by masterfully crafted undergrowth and exotic life. The legendary Plato’s Atlantis being the perfect masterclass in design evolution with technological wonders used to create the most complicated digital prints from naturally occurring patterns and colour. Even the hair and makeup would be considered to ensure strong primal forces would complement these themes. Equally as important would be the catwalk experience by McQueen, often relying on weather and elements to drive theatre culminating in some of the most memorable runway presentations ever with fire, water, blizzards, and rain.
