By the end of the program, scholars build their own web apps, as well as gain communication, leadership and teamwork skills that inspire self-confidence. Past scholars have built applications designed to help chronically ill teens feel less alone, connect commuters to the most sustainable commute routes, , and have gone on to be named congressional app challenge winners . In addition to Kode With Klossy’s flagship summer camp, Kode With Klossy will launch year round programming, as well as create inspiring tech-focused digital content for its community throughout the year. “Our focus for 2019 is to continue igniting the initial spark in our scholars and encourage them to explore their passions in technology.
