The show was held in the sumptuous surroundings of the Opera Garnier in Paris. The McCartneys were joined by fellow ex-Beatle Ringo Starr. It was Linda McCartney\'s second public appearance since her battle against breast cancer became known. Stella\'s aim - to appeal both to her own generation and to contemporaries of her parents. Many of the clothes were inspired by the \"Belle Epoque\" era. The 25-year-old studied at London\'s Central Saint Martin\'s school of design and graduated in 1995. But even as young as 15, she was learning the tricks of the trade at Christian Lacroix. After the models had played their part it was time for the young designer to hit the catwalk. Sir Paul, used to being in the limelight, seemed pleased that his youngest daughter was tasting fame for herself.
