'Model Karlie Kloss attends Shiatzy Chen fashion show at Paris Fashion Week'

'(4 Oct 2016) KARLIE KLOSS SITS FRONT ROW AT SHIATZY CHEN FASHION SHOW Taiwanese fashion house Shiatzy Chen presented \"Cutting Clouds,\" its Spring Summer 2017 collection at the historic Grand Palais in Paris Tuesday (4 OCT. 2016). True to her style, brand designer and founder, Wang Chen Tsai-Hsia, created a mix of Eastern and Western styles by creating a collection that showcased looks inspired by Chinese culture with an ultra- modern feel. The first part of the collection consisted of all-white looks mixed with metallic silver details. There were long skirts in virgin white with delicate silver pleats, sometimes combined with lacey bralettes or crop tops and accompanied by hooded or oversized coats. Then, small hints of color appeared on the following looks. Several pieces were white, but there were additional pops of color in the form of geometric designs that resembled pieces of stained glass featuring canary yellow, chartreuse, sky and azure blue.  In the show\'s notes,Tsai-Hsia explained she found the inspiration for the collection during a visit to the gothic cathedral of Sagrada Familia, in Barcelona designed by Spanish architect Antoni Gaudí, \"where the continual interaction between grandeur and delicateness, the changing lights and the clouds seen through the stained glass windows were the creative spark.\" The designer combined elements reminiscent of the cathedral\'s architecture by creating garments with long lines, mixing silks, 3D print jacquard and structural mesh in her designs. Following the label\'s tradition, several pieces featured traditional Oriental embroidery and hand sewn beadings and sequins.  The looks were completed by pointed toe heels and flats, which appeared in metallic colors such as silver and bronze, as well as in snake print in bright, tropical colors.
