'Money for Life Challenge, Look Good For Less 2015 Fashion Show at Apollo Studio Academy.featuring Pressed Prom and Bridal, Age UK, Apollo Studio Academy. The Money for Life Challenge is a national competition. which provides small grants for 16 to 24 year olds to run a project to improve money management skills within the local communities. It is a way for young people like us in further education, training or a community organisation to develop innovative, grass roots money management solutions, and also improve our own skills along the way. We are a group of five students from Apollo Studio Academy. Our project is \'Look Good For Less\'. We have to presented an alternative prom catwalk which was held within our local college auditorium. We invited local students and parents from the surrounding community, to raise awareness about budgeting and offer different ideas for the prom experience. We have made it past the first stage of the competition and have secured a grant of £500 to make our project happen. If we are lucky enough to get shortlisted for the national final then we have a chance of going through to the Money for Life Challenge UK final on the 28th May 2015 in London. If we were to win the overall competition , then we will win £2,500 for the charity of our choice. This would be fantastic for our community!
