They also discussed about what it means to change from a traditional supply chain to an innovative supply chain and what is forcing businesses to integrate these changes into their business models. \"The first thing that I\'d like to bring up actually doesn\'t have so much to do with technologies that you might think about like automated sewing machines, but more having to do with location. There is an ability now to really be producing things closer to where they\'re being sold, and as more companies and supply chains grow, and are connected, it really makes it easy for us to consider the entire journey from the very beginning all the way through where fabric is made. And then materials are completed brought over to the labor side and developed fully. When I think about Innovation the first thing that comes to mind actually is more having to do with less waste, and I need less inventory and more products that we know are going to be sold, and are needed. And then once you do that I like to focus the shift or shift the focus over to now: how can you modify and use technology to make it even better. But really one of the first things is just looking at the end consumer, where the product is going, and what\'s available locally to start to build that infrastructure.\" - The fashion manufacturing industry is filled with unanswered questions.
