And I think for me just to wear his clothes is just, it\'s a pleasure cause he really takes away, he doesn\'t follow any specific trend sort to speak. I mean his clothes are always just well done, well tailored, well made. Make women look absolutely beautiful but like I said, there\'s nothing vulgar about it and there\'s nothing, there are no clichs involved.\" 4. Pan photographers 5. Various from the runway show 6. SOUNBITE (English) Oscar de la Renta: \"It\'s just about women who want to express themselves and have a certain sense of fantasy, and it\'s just creating clothes that will make women smile and make the men look at the women and make them smile. I make clothes that are happy, that are exotic, that are fun.\" 13. Camera crew interviewing Oscar de la Renta OSCAR DE LA RENTA CONTINUES TO DAZZLE AT HIS NY RUNWAY SHOW As Fashion Week rolls into its third day, Oscar de la Renta dazzled the fashion crowd, including loyal clientele and new devotee, Grammy winner, Beyonce. On Monday morning in New York, Mr. de la Renta presented glamorous and elegant creations for today\'s women who want to be sexy and individual: \"It\'s just about women who want to express themselves and have a certain sense of fantasy, and it\'s just creating clothes that will make women smile and make the men look at the women and make them smile,\" the designer explained to APTN. Mr. de la Renta offered a new collection of ikat-print styles, a print he first introduced for spring. For fall, the palette of the ikat group, based on a weaving technique native to Uzbekistan, was a rich red, yellow, electric blue, a deep green, purple and brown. Some folkloric tones were also seen on the de la Renta\'s runway, including a fuschia velvet skirt with beautiful embroidery. A black satin gown with sheer black straps and velvet trim around the bust and a gold sequin gown were also winners, and a black cashmere sweater with a jewelled neck paired with a voluminous taffeta pleated skirt was fresh, but easily recognised as a de la Renta design. New York Fashion Week runs till 11 February 2005.
