'NEW YORK — Tuesday night’s Next News Fashion Week in New York coverage concluded at the Oscar de la Renta Fall 2016 runway show. According to Vogue, Peter Copping reportedly drew inspiration from the epic Franco-American sartorial showdown of 1973 known as the Battle of Versailles. This improbable American victory resonates to this day with the brand, which Copping has been studying through deep dives into its archives.
