'MFAH extends “The Glamour and Romance of Oscar de la Renta” Exhibition'

'Museum of Fine Arts in Houston (MFAH) opened “The Glamour and Romance of Oscar de la Renta” exhibition in early October of 2017 and it was planned to close at the end of January. Yet, the museum announced recently to extend the exhibition through March so more people would have the chance to view over 70 ensembles created by award-winning fashion designer Oscar de la Renta.   Oscar de la Renta left Dominic Republic and went to study painting in Spain in the 1950s and launched his fashion design career in Spain in the 1960s. His career spanned across 50 years and was known as an iconic designer in the field.'
